Interior Design and Shopfitting

We are happy to work with our customers in a number of different ways. These include:

• Supply of products only
• Design and supply of products
• Full Interior Design and project management. 

Supply and installation of all floors, ceilings, lighting, doors and partitioning, electrical work, plumbing, furniture and displays as required. We are also happy to work as a sub-contractor to a main contractor or builder, under a JCT contract if required.

Consultation

Meeting our clients face to face is very important. This is how we start to understand your requirements and how most of the crucial information is gained and options discussed. Generally, it is during this initial consultation where we try to understand the design brief, including reception and dispensing needs, number of frames to be displayed, budget, timescales and any design ideas you may have or want to incorporate. It can also be an opportunity to survey and measure up the practice.

Interior Design

Our time served professional Retail Interior Designers combined with our state of the art CAD systems offer innovative and effective designs which help to create fabulous practices. We understand that a retail environment requires both aesthetic and practical features which is where our experience is well utilised. The quality of our work is evident through the presentation of work in various forms. This includes 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional images, sample boards and unusual high quality materials. But above all it is the artistic flair and ability to transform designs into practical working spaces at reasonable prices that makes Mewscraft stand apart.

Installation

Our skilled craftsmen turn the unbelievable designs into reality. We know that when your shop or practice is closed for refurbishment, you are generally not trading. Therefore we pre-plan everything so that each task within the refit is timed perfectly to minimise any downtime. This includes re-decoration, electrical installations, ceilings and partition walls, lighting, flooring and installations of standard and/or bespoke displays. Our fitters tend to work long and unsociable hours in order to complete projects with the minimum of disruption. This frequently includes weekends and bank holidays, early mornings and late nights.

Additional Services

Most of our complete refits incorporate a number of skills and trades. Our customers feel safe having it all dealt with under one roof and see Mewscraft as being very reliable in specifying and sourcing the best materials for floors, wallpapers, lighting etc. Part of the skill of creating a fantastic design is going that extra mile to find the perfect materials and products to help pull the whole concept together.

	Lighting Retail Lighting is an important factor in the success of your business. Lighting schemes can be achieved within various budgets, from economy to premium. Finding the right lighting plan and strategy for you is on offer as part of a complete design proposal. We aim to introduce both functionality and dynamism to your practice. We specify a wide range of quality fittings and our experience proves invaluable in this area.
	Floor Often specified within our design, the floor plays a vital part in the overall look of the practice but must also offer practicality and durablility. We will help to choose the best solution for you. All floor types can be laid by our experienced fitters including, carpet (broadloom or tiles), vinyl contract flooring, ceramic and stone flooring and any solid wood or laminate floor. We also install suitable mat wells and entrance matting.
	Ceilings, Partition and Decoration Depending on the scale of the refit, a new ceiling, building of partition walls, doors and decoration may be required. Our experience in these fields allows us to confidently propose suitable options for you, including feature drop down ceilings with lighting, straight or curved partition walls. Where decoration is required, we will guarantee a top quality finish. On some projects our designers specify feature designer wall papers, colours and textures where the scheme warrants it.
	Signage and Graphics To add the finishing touches, we often recommend some additional branding or graphics to the displays and furniture where required. These can be simple vinyl adhesive logos or 3 dimensional letters with polished finishes. Examples include practice names, logos, branding, strap lines and so on. We are also able to propose new branding and logos for you.
