Terms & ConditionsDelivery timescalesSome of the products shown on our on-line shop are held in stock in our warehouse, and can be shipped within a day or two of receiving your payment. Other products typically take between 2 and 6 weeks to despatch, depending on which the products are. Please check delivery times with us when you order.
Assembly of productsMany of the products on our on-line shop are supplied flat-packed, and need some assembly. Please ask us for more details. We can let you know how easy products are to assemble and install. We are able to give technical help, if required.
Payment TermsAll orders made online will require a card payment to be made at time of ordering. This will be processed either the same day or the next day, depending on time of order. We will contact you regarding any additional charges such as delivery where applicable. If the order is not made on-line (for example if you telephone us), we are able to take payment by cheque, BACS, or direct transfer to our bank account.
TaxAll prices listed on our website are all subject to VAT at the current rate of 20%, for customers within the UK. A VAT invoice will be posted with all orders, clearly showing the VAT breakdown. VAT is also applicable on all carriage and shipping costs, for all UK Customers. For Customers in the European Union, VAT will not be applicable providing the Company has a valid VAT number, and this number is submitted to Mewscraft Ltd.
AcceptanceFor all orders either via the website or by telephone, a written order confirmation with unique number will be issued. A Mewscraft representative will contact you for payments regarding full settlement or deposits, where applicable. We will also advise you of the approximate expected delivery date for your order.
ReturnsIn the case of goods arriving incomplete, incorrect, damaged or faulty, please call Mewscraft as soon as possible. Mewscraft can then determine whether to arrange replacement parts or complete items to be sent, and if necessary for any damaged item to be collected. Please ensure that if goods are to signed for as 'in good condition' that they are checked before signing. Accepting goods as good condition before checking the quality may result in Mewscraft being unable to replace damaged goods.
Order cancellationIf you wish to return the goods for the reason that you have changed your mind or they are no longer required, you can do so within 7 days of receiving them. You are required to pay the return delivery charges and Mewscraft reserves the right to charge a re-stocking fee, typically 25% of the total order value. All returns must be received back at Mewscraft in perfect condition. To achieve this they must be carefully packed, not damaged, and not used in any way. Mewscraft inspect any goods received back very carefully. Refunds will not be given if the goods are not received back in perfect condition. Any goods which show signs that they have been installed cannot be resold as new, and therefore Mewscraft will not be able to give refunds in this case.. All returns must be sent to Mewscraft Ltd. Delivery and ShippingAll delivery charges will be added to your order when completed via our online shop. We will contact you to inform you of the delivery charges. For the majority of products a courier will deliver the goods on weekdays between 9:00 am and 17:00 pm, for which the consignment will require a signature. For large products and orders, a palletised delivery may be required. In this case, Mewscraft will contact you to assess the delivery access.
WarrantyAll products sold to you by Mewscraft will be subject to 1 year's warranty. Any quality issues must be communicated to Mewscraft as soon as they are discovered. Where possible, Mewscraft will replace or repair faulty units within the warranty period at no cost to the customer. The limit of Mewscraft's liability with respect to any product sold, will not be more than the sale price of the product. Installation costs associated with the product will not be covered.
Bespoke or custom made itemsOrders for Items which have been specifically made for a customer, which are not standard, or products which have been personalised for a particular customer, cannot be cancelled. If such an order is cancelled by the customer, Mewscraft will not be able to refund the cost of the items in full. Mewscraft will assess what stage the production has reached, and only make a refund if the production has not actually commenced. Where items are built to specific dimensions given by the customer, it is the customer's responsibility to check that sizes are correct. Errors regarding incorrect dimensions cannot be rectified once in production or finished.
